I am very grateful for the opportunity to present at last night’s Employment and Education Seminar hosted by Defence Community Organisation Canberra office. Attendees had the opportunity to hear valuable information from Soldier On, CIT’s Return to Work program, Volunteer ACT, ACT Dept of Child and Youth Protection Services.
I had the fantastic opportunity to speak to the audience about the value of career development assistance (and finding a practitioner via the Career Development Association of Australia), the importance of doing the legwork ahead of writing your resume and of the importance of targeting your resume to the job you’re applying for.
The information provided by all appeared to be well-received by the audience and it was a pleasure to mingle and chat with the audience afterward.
