In 2018 I travelled to the US, UK and Canada with the support of a Churchill Fellowship to investigate international approaches to supporting military spouse employment. My aim was to inform policy and program design here in Australia.
I had the privilege of meeting with and learning from a number of individuals and organisations from the government, non-profit and private sectors. Since then I’ve been working hard to share my findings and recommendations with a wide range of stakeholders here in Australia.
